Vivo Expands Premium Lineup in India with X Fold 5 and X200 FE Launch

Vivo is back in the spotlight with the launch of two premium smartphones in India — the Vivo X Fold 5, its second-generation foldable, and the Vivo X200 FE Launched on July 14, 2025, these devices aim to redefine both the foldable and fashion-forward flagship segments with cutting-edge features, bold design, and competitive pricing.

The Vivo X Fold 5, successor to the X Fold 3 Pro, is Vivo’s second-generation foldable and a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. It features a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover display and an 8.03-inch main AMOLED screen, both with 120Hz refresh rates and 4,500 nits peak brightness. The outer display is protected by second-generation Armor Glass.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the device offers up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It runs on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. The 6,000mAh battery — the largest in a foldable yet — supports 80W wired and 40W wireless charging.

Priced at ₹1,49,999 for the 16GB + 512GB variant, the X Fold 5 is available for pre-booking now and goes on sale July 30.

Vivo also introduced the X200 FE, a more compact and affordable version of the X200 Pro. It features a 6.31-inch AMOLED display with 5,000 nits peak brightness and a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. It’s available with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and also runs Funtouch OS 15.

The 6,500mAh battery supports 90W fast charging, and the device offers IP68/IP69 protection with Shield Glass durability.

The X200 FE is priced at ₹54,999 (12GB + 256GB) and ₹59,999 (16GB + 512GB), with sales starting July 23.

With these two launches, Vivo is clearly aiming to dominate both the foldable and flagship spaces—offering performance, power, and aesthetics in one stylish package.
