Actor Anushka Sharma recently shared that she and her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, personally cook for their children, Vamika and Akaay. Speaking at an event in Mumbai, as reported by the Indian Express, Anushka expressed their desire to pass on cherished family recipes to their kids. She mentioned how important it is to her and Virat to recreate the meals their mothers used to prepare. “If we don’t make the food our moms made at home, we won’t be passing these recipes on to our kids,” Anushka explained. She also confessed to occasionally calling her mom for recipes but emphasized the significance of preserving these traditions, saying, “It’s like passing on something valuable to your children.”
Anushka also highlighted her focus on maintaining a strict routine for their children, despite the family’s frequent travels. “I am very particular about routine,” she said. “My kids go through a lot of changes with travel, so creating a structured routine gives them a sense of control.” She added that fixed meal and sleep times, regardless of where they are, help the children regulate themselves more effectively.
