Rajasthan’s pride, Manika Vishwakarma, has been crowned Miss Universe India 2025, earning the honor to represent India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand on November 21, 2025. The glittering finale, held in Jaipur on August 18, witnessed 48 contestants from across the country, but it was Manika’s intelligence, confidence, and grace that set her apart.
Hailing from Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, Manika described her victory as a proud moment not only for her state but for the entire nation. “This achievement proves that dreams can take flight even from small towns,” she said, reflecting on her journey from Ganganagar to Delhi for her preparations. She credited her success to self-belief and the unwavering support of her well-wishers, adding, “The competition is not just a stage but a world that builds character.”

The finale jury featured eminent personalities including Miss Universe India owner Nikhil Anand, actress and Miss Universe India 2015 Urvashi Rautela, and filmmaker Farhad Samji. Urvashi praised the winner, saying, “The competition was very tough, but we are happy with our winner. She will definitely make India proud at Miss Universe.”
In the final question round, Manika was asked to choose between prioritizing women’s education or providing economic aid for underprivileged families. Her thoughtful answer — choosing women’s education as a tool to transform generations — impressed the judges and secured her the crown.
The grand evening saw Tanya Sharma from Uttar Pradesh crowned first runner-up, followed by Mehak Dhingra from Haryana as second runner-up, and Amishi Kaushik as third runner-up. Outgoing titleholder Rhea Singha passed the crown with pride, marking the beginning of a new chapter for Manika.
With her vision, intelligence, and determination, Manika Vishwakarma is set to carry India’s hopes to the global stage at Miss Universe 2025.
