Mercedes-Benz has officially launched the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé in India, priced at ₹1.35 crore (ex-showroom). This marks the second addition to the CLE lineup after the Cabriolet, blending C-Class agility with E-Class luxury.
Under the hood, the CLE 53 packs the upgraded 3.0-litre M256M inline six-cylinder turbo engine, delivering 449 hp and 560 Nm torque (600 Nm in overboost). Paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox and the second-gen 48V ISG mild-hybrid system, it sprints from 0-100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. The electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h can be increased to 270 km/h with the optional AMG Driver’s Package. Performance highlights include AMG DYNAMIC SELECT drive modes, air suspension, and rear-wheel steering.

Design-wise, the CLE 53 sports a bold Panamericana grille with vertical slats, AMG badging, functional hood scoop, sleek LED projector headlights, and aggressive air intakes. The coupe profile, sloping roofline, 20-inch black multi-spoke alloys, frameless windows, and gloss-black accents add to its sporty character. Available in six standard colors including Sun Yellow, Patagonia Red Metallic, and Obsidian Black, buyers can also opt for exclusive Spectral Blue Magno and Graphite Grey at extra cost.
Inside, the cabin exudes luxury and sportiness with ARTICO leather/MICROCUT microfibre AMG seats with red stitching, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, and an 11.9-inch central infotainment screen running the latest MBUX system.
Santosh Iyer, MD & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, called the CLE 53 “a redefinition of the luxury performance category” and highlighted that it further strengthens the brand’s top-end luxury strategy.
With its mix of power, elegance, and advanced tech, the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé is set to attract enthusiasts who want everyday usability without compromising on adrenaline.
