Support came from Sneh Rana (2/32) and Shree Charani (2/37), who broke partnerships at crucial intervals. Chamari Athapaththu (43) and Nilakshika Silva (35) showed fight, but Sri Lanka fell short, bowled out for 211 in 45.4 overs.
What stood out for India was their ability to bounce back under pressure. Losing four wickets in quick succession could have derailed the innings, but the middle and lower order stood tall. Their seventh and eighth wickets together added 145 runs—more than the top six combined.
