IND vs PAK: India Thrash Pakistan by 7 Wickets – SKY & Kuldeep Set Dubai on Fire

IND vs PAK: SKY & Kuldeep Shine as India Win by 7 Wickets

IND vs PAK clashes are always high-voltage, and the Asia Cup 2025 encounter in Dubai was no different — but this time, India completely outclassed Pakistan to register a thumping seven-wicket win. The defending champions showed their class with a complete all-round performance that left Pakistan searching for answers.

Chasing a modest 128, India got off to a dream start as young opener Abhishek Sharma went berserk, smashing 31 runs off just 13 balls. His aggressive approach put Pakistan’s bowling attack on the back foot immediately, with Shaheen Afridi taken apart in the very first over. Although India lost Shubman Gill (10) and Tilak Varma (31), skipper Suryakumar Yadav anchored the chase with an unbeaten 47 off 37 balls. He finished the game in style with a towering six in the 16th over, sealing a dominant victory.

Earlier, Pakistan’s decision to bat first backfired as India’s bowlers struck early. Hardik Pandya removed Saim Ayub on the first ball of the match, while Jasprit Bumrah picked up Mohammad Haris in the next over. Kuldeep Yadav was the star with the ball, taking three crucial wickets and choking Pakistan’s scoring rate. Axar Patel and Bumrah chipped in with two wickets each, restricting Pakistan to 127/9 despite Shaheen Afridi’s late cameo of 33 off 16.

At the post-match presentation, Suryakumar Yadav dedicated the IND vs PAK victory to the Indian armed forces and the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack, calling it “a perfect return gift to the nation.”

With this commanding win, India remain unbeaten in the tournament and will face Oman next. Pakistan, meanwhile, will look to regroup quickly ahead of their clash against UAE on Wednesday.
