Day 5 of Jigra Collection: The movie fails at the box office Despite her celebrity status, Alia Bhatt’s performance wins people over.

Alia Bhatt

Jigra Box Office Collection Day 5: Jigra, starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, was the subject of significant controversy prior to its premiere, which appears to have had an impact on the movie’s box office performance as well. The movie barely made any progress in the days that followed its dismal debut, earning just Rs 4.55 crore on the first day. According to Sacnilk, the total amount collected on day five was around Rs 1.6 crore, bringing the total to 19.85 crore.

The movie had trouble even filling the theaters on the weekend’s second and third days. Vasan Bala’s Jigra made Rs 6.55 crore on Saturday and Rs 5.5 crore on Sunday, despite having a lower-than-average occupancy rate.Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri’s Vicky Vidya Ka Who Waha video is also to blame for the movie’s poor box office performance. Vicky Vidya Ka Who Waha Video, which was made on a less budget than Jigra, crushed Alia Bhatt’s star power on the first day.

Even though there were relatively few individuals who saw the movie, it appears that Alia Bhatt was able to make an impression on those who did. Ironically, many who have seen the movie think it is worthy of praise.

The highlight for me was Alia and Vedang’s sibling closeness. “What a beautiful beautiful film.. if you have a sibling, it’s going to hit you way harder, please carry tissue box with you ,” someone commented.

Concerning Jigra

Jigra, which was directed by Vasan Bala, uses the tale of Satya and Ankur (played by Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina) to emphasize the relationship between siblings. Satya makes protecting her brother her life’s work after Ankur is found guilty and sentenced to death. To get Ankur out of jail and return him home, she travels to a foreign country.

However, the movie became controversial because Divya Khosla publicly accused the producers of falsifying the box office results and claiming the movie was a success. “Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra show,” she wrote in her post. The theater was completely deserted; this was happening everywhere. #Jigra hai #Aliabhatt me sach mein Bahut.. khud hi tickets karide aur false collections declare kar diye.
